FILE and FILES Plugins

Creating downloads from wiki pages or other content types can now easily be achieved with either the FILE or FILES Plugins.

As illustrated in the box below, the FILE Plugin displays a link to a file (either from the File Gallery or an attachment to a Wiki page).


What you need to enter into the edit screen in order to download from a File Gallery: {FILE(fileId="169")}your download from a Gallery text here{FILE}

Where the fileId# is the identifier for the specific item in the Gallery, which results in the clickable link:

Alternatively you can use the FILES Plugin to display a designated list of downloadable files from multiple File Galleries in a table format.


What you should enter into the edit screen:
{FILES(fileId="169:170")}{FILES}

Where multiple fileId's can be specified e.g. fileId="169:170" etc., and the fileId#'s are the identifiers for the specific items in the Galleries, which results in:
